This single storey rear extension and full refurbishment project in Kingston upon Thames transformed an outdated Victorian terraced home by replacing an existing conservatory with a substantial new kitchen and open-plan living space. The new extension features a vaulted ceiling with four Velux rooflights, flooding the room with natural light, and a full-width three-leaf aluminium sliding door system opening directly onto the garden.

The shaker-style kitchen, finished in a soft grey-blue with brass hardware and white quartz worktops, includes a large central island with integrated dining. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor extension. A new utility room with full-height cabinetry and stacked appliances was also formed, along with a new ground floor shower room complete with tiling, a heated towel rail, and LVT flooring.

Structural works included steel beam installations, chimney breast removal on both ground and first floors, and a full rewire with a new consumer unit. The first floor rear bedroom and WC were refitted as part of the wider refurbishment. Throughout, works included new brickwork to match the existing stock brick, plastering, painting and decorating, new windows and doors, roofing with artificial slate, and a replacement combi boiler.
